Residential Septic Systems
Jones Pump Service designs and installs residential septic systems in Harford County, Baltimore County and Cecil County. If you are building on a lot that is not connected to public sewer, we are the septic company to call. Choosing the site for the septic system, before choosing the house site can save you thousands of dollars. If you’re deciding between two lots, we can evaluate both lots and give you estimates of what a new septic installation would cost at each site.
If you have a failing septic system that needs to be replaced, we can help. We know the ins and outs of the Bay Area Restoration Fund. Depending on where you are located, you may be able to get financial help to replace a failing septic system.
Septic System Design
We base our residential septic system design on several factors, including:
- Soil type
- Location and size of lot
- Size of house and how many people live there
We take care of the percolation test, all of the permits and all of the legal documentation needed to install your septic system.
Types of Septic Systems
There are several different types of septic systems. Depending on the factors above and others, we may recommend a conventional septic system, a sand mound system, low dose pressure system or an aerobic septic system. Some of our recommendations are based on what state law requires for certain locations. Some lots just aren’t suitable for conventional residential septic systems.
We’ll design your system based on current codes, soil testing, water table and location of nearby wells or bodies of water.
Other Septic Services
Other septic services we provide include septic tank pumping, septic inspection and septic repair. Once we’ve installed residential septic systems, we’re partners who will work with you to keep your system up and running for years to come.
