Bay Area Environmental / Jones Pump Service offers complete septic system design consulting services for both residential and commercial properties. Our team will work you through the process of soil testing, disposal layout, design submittal / approval, BRF grant application and system installation. We perform percolation testing and soil evaluations. These results are used to design a pretreatment and dispersal system that best fits your needs. If pretreatment is required or recommended, Bay Area Environmental works with a wide variety of Best Available Technology (BAT) manufacturers and we can choose a BAT that will give you the best treatment for your property.

If an innovative or alternative disposal system is required or recommended it’s often because it has been determined, through percolation testing, that the soils show a slow absorption rate or there is a high-water table. Bay Area Environmental can provide designs for a range of soil-based technology discharge systems including, at grade mounds, micro mounds, drip disposal systems, and low-pressure distribution.

Jones Pump Service is a Maryland distributor of American Manufacturing products and components. Perc Rite drip disposal systems incorporate infiltration, time dosing and low-rate drip distribution tubing.

After the design is complete and approved by your local health department and MDE, Bay Area Environmental will let the project out to bid to local contractors to be sure you get fair and competitive bids from qualified contractors.  We will provide installation oversight as needed, assist with system start-ups and submit final installation certifications.

Jones Pump Service can provide service contracts for all the systems we design to ensure proper care and maintenance of the septic system.  It is our goal that the relationships we build with our customers last for years to come.
